* As obedient children , not fashioning yourselves according to (5730 ) the former lusts in your ignorance : * But as he which hath called (5660 ) you is holy , so be (5676 ) ye holy in all manner of conversation ; * Because it is written (5769 ), Be ye (5634 ) holy ; for I am (5748 ) holy . * And if ye call on (5731 ) the Father , who without respect of persons judgeth (5723 ) according to every mans work , pass (5649 ) the time of your sojourning here in fear : * Forasmuch as ye know (5761 ) that ye were not redeemed (5681 ) with corruptible things , as silver and gold , from your vain conversation received by tradition from your fathers ; * But with the precious blood of Christ , as of a lamb without blemish and without spot : * Who verily was foreordained (5772 ) before the foundation of the world , but was manifest (5685 ) in these last times for you , * Who by him do believe (5723 ) in God , that raised him up (5660 ) from the dead , and gave (5631 ) him glory ; that your faith and hope might be (5750 ) in God .
