* Forasmuch then as Christ hath suffered (5631 ) for us in the flesh , arm (5669 ) yourselves likewise with the same mind : for he that hath suffered (5631 ) in the flesh hath ceased (5769 ) from sin ; * That he no longer should live (5658 ) the rest of his time in the flesh to the lusts of men , but to the will of God . * For the time past (5756 ) of our life may suffice us to have wrought (5664 ) the will of the Gentiles , when we walked (5768 ) in lasciviousness , lusts , excess of wine , revellings , banquetings , and abominable idolatries :
