* Beloved , think it not strange (5744 ) concerning the fiery trial which is (5740 ) to try you , as though some strange thing happened (5723 ) unto you : * But rejoice (5720 ), inasmuch as ye are partakers (5719 ) of Christs sufferings ; that , when his glory shall be revealed , ye may be glad (5647 ) also with exceeding joy (5740 ). * If ye be reproached (5743 ) for the name of Christ , happy are ye ; for the spirit of glory and of God resteth (5731 ) upon you : on their part he is evil spoken of (5743 ), but on your part he is glorified (5743 ). * But let none of you suffer (5720 ) as a murderer , or as a thief , or as an evildoer , or as a busybody in other mens matters . * Yet if any man suffer as a Christian , let him not be ashamed (5744 ); but let him glorify (5720 ) God on this behalf .
