* For the Lord himself shall descend (5695 ) from heaven with a shout , with the voice of the archangel , and with the trump of God : and the dead in Christ shall rise (5698 ) first : * Then we which are alive (5723 ) and remain (5742 ) shall be caught up (5691 ) together with them in the clouds , to meet the Lord in the air : and so shall we ever be (5704 ) with the Lord .
