* But they that will (5740 ) be rich (5721 ) fall (5719 ) into temptation and a snare , and into many foolish and hurtful lusts , which drown (5719 ) men in destruction and perdition . * For the love of money is (5748 ) the root of all evil : which while some coveted after (5734 ), they have erred (5681 ) from the faith , and pierced themselves through (5656 ) with many sorrows . * But thou , O man of God , flee (5720 ) these things ; and follow after (5720 ) righteousness , godliness , faith , love , patience , meekness .
