* But there were (5633 ) false prophets also among the people , even as there shall be (5704 ) false teachers among you , who privily shall bring in (5692 ) damnable heresies , even denying (5740 ) the Lord that bought (5660 ) them , and bring (5723 ) upon themselves swift destruction . * And many shall follow (5692 ) their pernicious ways ; by reason of whom the way of truth shall be evil spoken of (5701 ). * And through covetousness shall they with feigned words make merchandise (5695 ) of you : whose judgment now of a long time lingereth (5719 ) not , and their damnation slumbereth (5719 ) not .
