* For when they speak (5726 ) great swelling words of vanity , they allure (5719 ) through the lusts of the flesh , through much wantonness , those that were clean escaped (5631 ) from them who live (5746 ) in error . * While they promise (5740 ) them liberty , they themselves are (5723 ) the servants of corruption : for of whom a man is overcome (5766 ), of the same is he brought in bondage (5769 ). * For if after they have escaped (5631 ) the pollutions of the world through the knowledge of the Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ , they are again entangled (5651 ) therein , and overcome (5754 ) (5736 ), the latter end is worse with them than the beginning .
