* For this they willingly (5723 ) are ignorant of (5719 ), that by the word of God the heavens were (5713 ) of old , and the earth standing (5761 ) out of the water and in the water : * Whereby the world that then was , being overflowed (5685 ) with water , perished (5639 ): * But the heavens and the earth , which are now , by the same word are (5748 ) kept in store (5772 ), reserved (5746 ) unto fire against the day of judgment and perdition of ungodly men .
