* I charge (5736 ) thee therefore before God , and the Lord Jesus Christ , who shall (5723 ) judge (5721 ) the quick (5723 ) and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom ; * Preach (5657 ) the word ; be instant (5628 ) in season , out of season ; reprove (5657 ), rebuke (5657 ), exhort (5657 ) with all longsuffering and doctrine . * For the time will come (5704 ) when they will not endure (5695 ) sound (5723 ) doctrine ; but after their own lusts shall they heap (5692 ) to themselves teachers , having itching (5746 ) ears ; * And they shall turn away (5692 ) their ears from the truth , and shall be turned (5691 ) unto fables . * But watch (5720 ) thou in all things , endure afflictions (5657 ), do (5657 ) the work of an evangelist , make full proof (5657 ) of thy ministry . * For I am now ready to be offered (5743 ), and the time of my departure is at hand (5758 ).
