* And , behold (5628 ), the angel of the Lord came upon (5627 ) him , and a light shined (5656 ) in the prison : and he smote (5660 ) Peter on the side , and raised him up (5656 ), saying (5723 ), Arise up (5628 ) quickly . And his chains fell off (5627 ) from his hands . * And the angel said (5627 ) unto him , Gird thyself (5669 ), and bind on (5669 ) thy sandals . And so he did (5656 ). And he saith (5719 ) unto him , Cast thy garment about (5640 ) thee , and follow (5720 ) me . * And he went out (5631 ), and followed (5707 ) him ; and wist (5715 ) not that it was (5748 ) true which was done (5740 ) by the angel ; but thought (5707 ) he saw (5721 ) a vision . * When they were past (5631 ) the first and the second ward , they came (5627 ) unto the iron gate that leadeth (5723 ) unto the city ; which opened (5681 ) to them of his own accord : and they went out (5631 ), and passed on through (5627 ) one street ; and forthwith the angel departed (5627 ) from him .
