* Then came he (5656 ) to Derbe and Lystra : and , behold (5628 ), a certain disciple was (5713 ) there , named Timotheus , the son of a certain woman , which was a Jewess , and believed ; but his father was a Greek : * Which was well reported (5712 ) of by the brethren that were at Lystra and Iconium . * Him would (5656 ) Paul have to go forth (5629 ) with him ; and took (5631 ) and circumcised (5627 ) him because of the Jews which were (5752 ) in those quarters : for they knew (5715 ) all that his father was (5707 ) a Greek .
