* And when they had laid (5631 ) many stripes upon them , they cast (5627 ) them into prison , charging (5660 ) the jailor to keep (5721 ) them safely : * Who , having received (5761 ) such a charge , thrust (5627 ) them into the inner prison , and made their feet fast (5662 ) in the stocks . * And at midnight Paul and Silas prayed (5740 ), and sang praises (5707 ) unto God : and the prisoners heard (5711 ) them .
