* Men and brethren , this scripture must (5713 ) needs have been fulfilled (5683 ), which the Holy Ghost by the mouth of David spake before (5627 ) concerning Judas , which was (5637 ) guide to them that took (5631 ) Jesus . * For he was (5713 ) numbered (5772 ) with us , and had obtained (5627 ) part of this ministry . * Now this man purchased (5662 ) a field with the reward of iniquity ; and falling (5637 ) headlong , he burst asunder (5656 ) in the midst , and all his bowels gushed out (5681 ). * And it was (5633 ) known unto all the dwellers (5723 ) at Jerusalem ; insomuch as that field is called (5683 ) in their proper tongue , Aceldama , that is to say (5748 ), The field of blood . * For it is written (5769 ) in the book of Psalms , Let his habitation be (5676 ) desolate , and let (5749 ) no man dwell (5723 ) therein : and his bishoprick let another take (5630 ).
