* And when Peter saw (5631 ) it , he answered (5662 ) unto the people , Ye men of Israel , why marvel ye (5719 ) at this ? or why look ye so earnestly (5719 ) on us , as though by our own power or holiness we had made (5761 ) this man to walk (5721 )? * The God of Abraham , and of Isaac , and of Jacob , the God of our fathers , hath glorified (5656 ) his Son Jesus ; whom ye delivered up (5656 ), and denied (5662 ) him in the presence of Pilate , when he was determined (5660 ) to let him go (5721 ). * But ye denied (5662 ) the Holy One and the Just , and desired (5668 ) a murderer to be granted (5683 ) unto you ; * And killed (5656 ) the Prince of life , whom God hath raised (5656 ) from the dead ; whereof we are (5748 ) witnesses . * And his name through faith in his name hath made this man strong (5656 ), whom ye see (5719 ) and know (5758 ): yea , the faith which is by him hath given (5656 ) him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all .
