* Saying (5723 ), Did not we straitly command (5656 ) you that ye should not teach (5721 ) in this name ? and , behold (5628 ), ye have filled (5758 ) Jerusalem with your doctrine , and intend (5736 ) to bring (5629 ) this mans blood upon us . * Then Peter and the other apostles answered (5679 ) and said (5627 ), We ought (5748 ) to obey (5721 ) God rather than men . * The God of our fathers raised up (5656 ) Jesus , whom ye slew (5668 ) and hanged (5660 ) on a tree . * Him hath God exalted (5656 ) with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour , for to give (5629 ) repentance to Israel , and forgiveness of sins . * And we are (5748 ) his witnesses of these things ; and so is also the Holy Ghost , whom God hath given (5656 ) to them that obey (5723 ) him . * When they heard (5660 ) that , they were cut (5712 ) to the heart , and took counsel (5711 ) to slay (5629 ) them .
