* Then Peter and the other apostles answered (5679 ) and said (5627 ), We ought (5748 ) to obey (5721 ) God rather than men . * The God of our fathers raised up (5656 ) Jesus , whom ye slew (5668 ) and hanged (5660 ) on a tree . * Him hath God exalted (5656 ) with his right hand to be a Prince and a Saviour , for to give (5629 ) repentance to Israel , and forgiveness of sins . * And we are (5748 ) his witnesses of these things ; and so is also the Holy Ghost , whom God hath given (5656 ) to them that obey (5723 ) him .
