* And to him they agreed (5681 ): and when they had called (5666 ) the apostles , and beaten (5660 ) them , they commanded (5656 ) that they should not speak (5721 ) in the name of Jesus , and let them go (5656 ). * And they departed (5711 ) from the presence of the council , rejoicing (5723 ) that they were counted worthy (5681 ) to suffer shame (5683 ) for his name . * And daily in the temple , and in every house , they ceased (5710 ) not to teach (5723 ) and preach (5734 ) Jesus Christ .
