* And when Simon saw (5666 ) that through laying on of the apostles hands the Holy Ghost was given (5743 ), he offered (5656 ) them money , * Saying (5723 ), Give (5628 ) me also this power , that on whomsoever I lay (5632 ) hands , he may receive (5725 ) the Holy Ghost . * But Peter said (5627 ) unto him , Thy money perish (5751 ) with thee , because thou hast thought (5656 ) that the gift of God may be purchased (5738 ) with money . * Thou hast (5748 ) neither part nor lot in this matter : for thy heart is (5748 ) not right in the sight of God .
