* And as they went (5711 ) on their way , they came (5627 ) unto a certain water : and the eunuch said (5748 ), See (5628 ), here is water ; what doth hinder (5719 ) me to be baptized (5683 )? * And Philip said (5627 ), If thou believest (5719 ) with all thine heart , thou mayest (5748 ). And he answered (5679 ) and said (5627 ), I believe (5719 ) that Jesus Christ is (5750 ) the Son of God . * And he commanded (5656 ) the chariot to stand still (5629 ): and they went down (5627 ) both into the water , both Philip and the eunuch ; and he baptized (5656 ) him . * And when they were come up (5627 ) out of the water , the Spirit of the Lord caught away (5656 ) Philip , that the eunuch saw (5627 ) him no more : and he went (5711 ) on his way rejoicing (5723 ).
