* Paul , an apostle , (not of men , neither by man , but by Jesus Christ , and God the Father , who raised (5660 ) him from the dead ;) * And all the brethren which are with me , unto the churches of Galatia : * Grace be to you and peace from God the Father , and from our Lord Jesus Christ , * Who gave (5631 ) himself for our sins , that he might deliver (5643 ) us from this present (5761 ) evil world , according to the will of God and our Father : * To whom be glory for ever and ever . Amen . * I marvel (5719 ) that ye are so soon removed (5727 ) from him that called (5660 ) you into the grace of Christ unto another gospel : * Which is (5748 ) not another ; but there be (5748 ) some that trouble (5723 ) you , and would (5723 ) pervert (5658 ) the gospel of Christ . * But though we , or an angel from heaven , preach any other gospel (5735 ) unto you than that which we have preached (5668 ) unto you , let him be (5749 ) accursed . * As we said before (5758 ), so say I (5719 ) now again , If any man preach any other gospel (5731 ) unto you than that ye have received (5627 ), let him be (5749 ) accursed . * For do I now persuade (5719 ) men , or God ? or do I seek (5719 ) to please (5721 ) men ? for if I yet pleased (5707 ) men , I should not be (5713 ) the servant of Christ . * But I certify (5719 ) you , brethren , that the gospel which was preached (5685 ) of me is (5748 ) not after man . * For I neither received (5627 ) it of man , neither was I taught (5681 ) it , but by the revelation of Jesus Christ . * For ye have heard (5656 ) of my conversation in time past in the Jews religion , how that beyond measure I persecuted (5707 ) the church of God , and wasted (5707 ) it : * And profited (5707 ) in the Jews religion above many my equals in mine own nation , being (5723 ) more exceedingly zealous of the traditions of my fathers . * But when it pleased (5656 ) God , who separated (5660 ) me from my mothers womb , and called (5660 ) me by his grace , * To reveal (5658 ) his Son in me , that I might preach (5735 ) him among the heathen ; immediately I conferred (5639 ) not with flesh and blood : * Neither went I up (5627 ) to Jerusalem to them which were apostles before me ; but I went (5627 ) into Arabia , and returned (5656 ) again unto Damascus . * Then after three years I went up (5627 ) to Jerusalem to see (5658 ) Peter , and abode (5656 ) with him fifteen days . * But other of the apostles saw I (5627 ) none , save James the Lords brother . * Now the things which I write (5719 ) unto you , behold (5628 ), before God , I lie (5736 ) not . * Afterwards I came (5627 ) into the regions of Syria and Cilicia ; * And was (5713 ) unknown (5746 ) by face unto the churches of Judaea which were in Christ : * But they had (5713 ) heard (5723 ) only , That he which persecuted (5723 ) us in times past now preacheth (5731 ) the faith which once he destroyed (5707 ). * And they glorified (5707 ) God in me .
