* God , who at sundry times and in divers manners spake (5660 ) in time past unto the fathers by the prophets , * Hath in these last days spoken (5656 ) unto us by his Son , whom he hath appointed (5656 ) heir of all things , by whom also he made (5656 ) the worlds ; * Who being (5752 ) the brightness of his glory , and the express image of his person , and upholding (5723 ) all things by the word of his power , when he had # by himself purged (5671 ) our sins , sat down (5656 ) on the right hand of the Majesty on high ; * Being made (5637 ) so much better than the angels , as he hath by inheritance obtained (5758 ) a more excellent name than they . * For unto which of the angels said he (5627 ) at any time , Thou art (5748 ) my Son , this day have I begotten (5758 ) thee ? And again , I will be (5704 ) to him a Father , and he shall be (5704 ) to me a Son ? * And again , when he bringeth in (5632 ) the firstbegotten into the world , he saith (5719 ), And let all the angels of God worship (5657 ) him . * And of the angels he saith (5719 ), Who maketh (5723 ) his angels spirits , and his ministers a flame of fire . * But unto the Son he saith , Thy throne , O God , is for ever and ever : a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom . * Thou hast loved (5656 ) righteousness , and hated (5656 ) iniquity ; therefore God , even thy God , hath anointed (5656 ) thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows . * And , Thou , Lord , in the beginning hast laid the foundation (5656 ) of the earth ; and the heavens are (5748 ) the works of thine hands : * They shall perish (5698 ); but thou remainest (5719 ); and they all shall wax old (5701 ) as doth a garment ; * And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up (5692 ), and they shall be changed (5691 ): but thou art (5748 ) the same , and thy years shall not fail (5692 ). * But to which of the angels said he (5758 ) at any time , Sit (5737 ) on my right hand , until I make (5632 ) thine enemies thy footstool ? * Are they (5748 ) not all ministering spirits , sent forth (5746 ) to minister for them who shall (5723 ) be heirs of (5721 ) salvation ?
