that they might obtain (5632 ) a better resurrection : * And others had (5627 ) trial of cruel mockings and scourgings , yea , moreover of bonds and imprisonment : * They were stoned (5681 ), they were sawn asunder (5681 ), were tempted (5681 ), were slain (5627 ) with the sword : they wandered about (5627 ) in sheepskins and goatskins ; being destitute (5746 ), afflicted (5746 ), tormented (5746 ); * (Of whom the world was (5713 ) not worthy :) they wandered (5746 ) in deserts , and in mountains , and in dens and caves of the earth . * And these all , having obtained a good report (5685 ) through faith , received (5668 ) not the promise : * God having provided (5671 ) some better thing for us , that they without us should not be made perfect (5686 ).
