* By faith Abraham , when he was called (5746 ) to go out (5629 ) into a place which he should after (5707 ) receive (5721 ) for an inheritance , obeyed (5656 ); and he went out (5627 ), not knowing (5740 ) whither he went (5736 ). * By faith he sojourned (5656 ) in the land of promise , as in a strange country , dwelling (5660 ) in tabernacles with Isaac and Jacob , the heirs with him of the same promise : * For he looked for (5711 ) a city which hath (5723 ) foundations , whose builder and maker is God . * Through faith also Sara herself received (5627 ) strength to conceive seed , and was delivered of a child (5627 ) when she was past age , because she judged (5662 ) him faithful who had promised (5666 ). * Therefore sprang there (5681 ) even of one , and him as good as dead (5772 ), so many as the stars of the sky in multitude , and as the sand which is by the sea shore innumerable .
