* Behold (5628 ), we count them happy (5719 ) which endure (5723 ). Ye have heard (5656 ) of the patience of Job , and have seen (5627 ) the end of the Lord ; that the Lord is (5748 ) very pitiful , and of tender mercy . * But above all things , my brethren , swear (5720 ) not , neither by heaven , neither by the earth , neither by any other oath : but let your yea be (5749 ) yea ; and your nay , nay ; lest ye fall (5632 ) into condemnation . * Is any among you afflicted (5719 )? let him pray (5737 ). Is any merry (5719 )? let him sing psalms (5720 ). * Is any sick (5719 ) among you ? let him call (5663 ) for the elders of the church ; and let them pray (5663 ) over him , anointing (5660 ) him with oil in the name of the Lord : * And the prayer of faith shall save (5692 ) the sick (5723 ), and the Lord shall raise him up (5692 ); and if he have (5753 ) committed (5761 ) sins , they shall be forgiven (5701 ) him . * Confess (5732 ) your faults one to another , and pray (5737 ) one for another , that ye may be healed (5686 ). The effectual fervent (5734 ) prayer of a righteous man availeth (5719 ) much .
