* Therefore they could (5711 ) not believe (5721 ), because that Esaias said (5627 ) again , * He hath blinded (5758 ) their eyes , and hardened (5758 ) their heart ; that they should not see (5632 ) with their eyes , nor understand (5661 ) with their heart , and be converted (5652 ), and I should heal (5667 ) them . * These things said (5627 ) Esaias , when he saw (5627 ) his glory , and spake (5656 ) of him . * Nevertheless among the chief rulers also many believed (5656 ) on him ; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess (5707 ) him , lest they should be (5638 ) put out of the synagogue : * For they loved (5656 ) the praise of men more than the praise of God .
