* These words spake (5656 ) Jesus , and lifted up (5656 ) his eyes to heaven , and said (5627 ), Father , the hour is come (5754 ); glorify (5657 ) thy Son , that thy Son also may glorify (5661 ) thee : * As thou hast given (5656 ) him power over all flesh , that he should give (5661 ) eternal life to as many as thou hast given (5758 ) him . * And this is (5748 ) life eternal , that they might know (5725 ) thee the only true God , and Jesus Christ , whom thou hast sent (5656 ). * I have glorified (5656 ) thee on the earth : I have finished (5656 ) the work which thou gavest (5758 ) me to do (5661 ). * And now , O Father , glorify (5657 ) thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had (5707 ) with thee before the world was (5750 ). * I have manifested (5656 ) thy name unto the men which thou gavest (5758 ) me out of the world : thine they were (5713 ), and thou gavest (5758 ) them me ; and they have kept (5758 ) thy word . * Now they have known (5758 ) that all things whatsoever thou hast given (5758 ) me are (5748 ) of thee . * For I have given (5758 ) unto them the words which thou gavest (5758 ) me ; and they have received (5627 ) them , and have known (5627 ) surely that I came out (5627 ) from thee , and they have believed (5656 ) that thou didst send (5656 ) me . * I pray (5719 ) for them : I pray (5719 ) not for the world , but for them which thou hast given (5758 ) me ; for they are (5748 ) thine . * And all mine are (5748 ) thine , and thine are mine ;and I am glorified (5769 ) in them . * And now I am (5748 ) no more in the world , but these are (5748 ) in the world , and I come (5736 ) to thee . Holy Father , keep (5657 ) through thine own name those whom thou hast given (5758 ) me , that they may be (5753 ) one , as we are . * While I was (5713 ) with them in the world , I kept (5707 ) them in thy name : those that thou gavest (5758 ) me I have kept (5656 ), and none of them is lost (5639 ), but the son of perdition ; that the scripture might be fulfilled (5686 ). * And now come I (5736 ) to thee ; and these things I speak (5719 ) in the world , that they might have (5725 ) my joy fulfilled (5772 ) in themselves . * I have given (5758 ) them thy word ; and the world hath hated (5656 ) them , because they are (5748 ) not of the world , even as I am (5748 ) not of the world . * I pray (5719 ) not that thou shouldest take (5661 ) them out of the world , but that thou shouldest keep (5661 ) them from the evil . * They are (5748 ) not of the world , even as I am (5748 ) not of the world . * Sanctify (5657 ) them through thy truth : thy word is (5748 ) truth . * As thou hast sent (5656 ) me into the world , even so have I also sent (5656 ) them into the world . * And for their sakes I sanctify (5719 ) myself , that they also might (5753 ) be sanctified (5772 ) through the truth . * Neither pray I (5719 ) for these alone , but for them also which shall believe (5694 ) on me through their word ; * That they all may be (5753 ) one ; as thou , Father , art in me , and I in thee , that they also may be (5753 ) one in us : that the world may believe (5661 ) that thou hast sent (5656 ) me . * And the glory which thou gavest (5758 ) me I have given (5758 ) them ; that they may be (5753 ) one , even as we are (5748 ) one : * I in them , and thou in me , that they may be (5753 ) made perfect (5772 ) in one ; and that the world may know (5725 ) that thou hast sent (5656 ) me , and hast loved (5656 ) them , as thou hast loved (5656 ) me . * Father , I will (5719 ) that they also , whom thou hast given (5758 ) me , be (5753 ) with me where I am (5748 ); that they may behold (5725 ) my glory , which thou hast given (5656 ) me : for thou lovedst (5656 ) me before the foundation of the world . * O righteous Father , the world hath not known (5627 ) thee : but I have known (5627 ) thee , and these have known (5627 ) that thou hast sent (5656 ) me . * And I have declared (5656 ) unto them thy name , and will declare (5692 ) it : that the love wherewith thou hast loved (5656 ) me may be (5753 ) in them , and I in them .
