* And there came (5627 ) also Nicodemus , which at the first came (5631 ) to Jesus by night , and brought (5723 ) a mixture of myrrh and aloes , about an hundred pound weight . * Then took they (5627 ) the body of Jesus , and wound (5656 ) it in linen clothes with the spices , as the manner of the Jews is (5748 ) to bury (5721 ). * Now in the place where he was crucified (5681 ) there was (5713 ) a garden ; and in the garden a new sepulchre , wherein was never man yet laid (5681 ). * There laid they (5656 ) Jesus therefore because of the Jews preparation day ; for the sepulchre was (5713 ) nigh at hand .
