John:19:7-12

* The Jews answered (5662 ) him , We have (5719 ) a law , and by our law he ought (5719 ) to die (5629 ), because he made (5656 ) himself the Son of God . * When Pilate therefore heard (5656 ) that saying , he was the more afraid (5675 ); * And went (5627 ) again into the judgment hall , and saith (5719 ) unto Jesus , Whence art (5748 ) thou ? But Jesus gave (5656 ) him no answer . * Then saith (5719 ) Pilate unto him , Speakest thou (5719 ) not unto me ? knowest thou (5758 ) not that I have (5719 ) power to crucify (5658 ) thee , and have (5719 ) power to release (5658 ) thee ? * Jesus answered (5662 ), Thou couldest have (5707 ) no power at all against me , except it were (5713 ) given (5772 ) thee from above : therefore he that delivered (5723 ) me unto thee hath (5719 ) the greater sin . * And from thenceforth Pilate sought (5707 ) to release (5658 ) him : but the Jews cried out (5707 ), saying (5723 ), If thou let this man go (5661 ), thou art (5748 ) not Caesars friend : whosoever maketh (5723 ) himself a king speaketh against (5719 ) Caesar .
