* Then said (5627 ) Jesus to them again , Peace be unto you : as my Father hath sent (5758 ) me , even so send (5719 ) I you . * And when he had said (5631 ) this , he breathed on (5656 ) them , and saith (5719 ) unto them , Receive ye (5628 ) the Holy Ghost : * Whose soever sins ye remit (5632 ), they are remitted (5743 ) unto them ; and whose soever sins ye retain (5725 ), they are retained (5769 ). * But Thomas , one of the twelve , called (5746 ) Didymus , was (5713 ) not with them when Jesus came (5627 ). * The other disciples therefore said (5707 ) unto him , We have seen (5758 ) the Lord . But he said (5627 ) unto them , Except I shall see (5632 ) in his hands the print of the nails , and put (5632 ) my finger into the print of the nails , and thrust (5632 ) my hand into his side , I will not believe (5692 ). * And after eight days again his disciples were (5713 ) within , and Thomas with them : then came (5736 ) Jesus , the doors being shut (5772 ), and stood (5627 ) in the midst , and said (5627 ), Peace be unto you .
