* The same came (5627 ) to Jesus by night , and said (5627 ) unto him , Rabbi , we know (5758 ) that thou art a teacher come (5754 ) from God : for no man can (5736 ) do (5721 ) these miracles that thou doest (5719 ), except God be (5753 ) with him . * Jesus answered (5662 ) and said (5627 ) unto him , Verily , verily , I say (5719 ) unto thee , Except a man be born (5686 ) again , he cannot (5736 ) see (5629 ) the kingdom of God . * Nicodemus saith (5719 ) unto him , How can (5736 ) a man be born (5683 ) when he is (5752 ) old ? can (5736 ) he enter (5629 ) the second time into his mothers womb , and be born (5683 )? * Jesus answered (5662 ), Verily , verily , I say (5719 ) unto thee , Except a man be born (5686 ) of water and of the Spirit , he cannot (5736 ) enter (5629 ) into the kingdom of God .
