John:5:31-47

* If I bear witness (5725 ) of myself , my witness is (5748 ) not true . * There is (5748 ) another that beareth witness (5723 ) of me ; and I know (5758 ) that the witness which he witnesseth (5719 ) of me is (5748 ) true . * Ye sent (5758 ) unto John , and he bare witness (5758 ) unto the truth . * But I receive (5719 ) not testimony from man : but these things I say (5719 ), that ye might be saved (5686 ). * He was (5713 ) a burning (5746 ) and a shining (5723 ) light : and ye were willing (5656 ) for a season to rejoice (5677 ) in his light . * But I have (5719 ) greater witness than that of John : for the works which the Father hath given (5656 ) me to finish (5661 ), the same works that I do (5719 ), bear witness (5719 ) of me , that the Father hath sent (5758 ) me . * And the Father himself , which hath sent (5660 ) me , hath borne witness (5758 ) of me . Ye have neither heard (5754 ) his voice at any time , nor seen (5758 ) his shape . * And ye have (5719 ) not his word abiding (5723 ) in you : for whom he hath sent (5656 ), him ye believe (5719 ) not . * Search (5719 ) the scriptures ; for in them ye think (5719 ) ye have (5721 ) eternal life : and they are they (5748 ) which testify (5723 ) of me . * And ye will (5719 ) not come (5629 ) to me , that ye might have (5725 ) life . * I receive (5719 ) not honour from men . * But I know (5758 ) you , that ye have (5719 ) not the love of God in you . * I am come (5754 ) in my Fathers name , and ye receive (5719 ) me not : if another shall come (5632 ) in his own name , him ye will receive (5695 ). * How can (5736 ) ye believe (5658 ), which receive (5723 ) honour one of another , and seek (5719 ) not the honour that cometh from God only ? * Do not think (5720 ) that I will accuse (5692 ) you to the Father : there is (5748 ) one that accuseth (5723 ) you , even Moses , in whom ye trust (5758 ). * For had ye believed (5707 ) Moses , ye would have believed (5707 ) me : for he wrote (5656 ) of me . * But if ye believe (5719 ) not his writings , how shall ye believe (5692 ) my words ?
