* And when the people were gathered thick together (5746 ), he began (5662 ) to say (5721 ), This is (5748 ) an evil generation : they seek (5719 ) a sign ; and there shall no sign be given (5701 ) it , but the sign of Jonas the prophet . * For as Jonas was (5633 ) a sign unto the Ninevites , so shall also the Son of man be (5704 ) to this generation .
