* And he spake (5627 ) a parable unto them , saying (5723 ), The ground of a certain rich man brought forth plentifully (5656 ): * And he thought (5711 ) within himself , saying (5723 ), What shall I do (5661 ), because I have (5719 ) no room where to bestow (5692 ) my fruits ? * And he said (5627 ), This will I do (5692 ): I will pull down (5692 ) my barns , and build (5692 ) greater ; and there will I bestow (5692 ) all my fruits and my goods . * And I will say (5692 ) to my soul , Soul , thou hast (5719 ) much goods laid up (5740 ) for many years ; take thine ease (5732 ), eat (5628 ), drink (5628 ), and be merry (5744 ). * But God said (5627 ) unto him , Thou fool , this night thy soul shall be required (5719 ) of thee : then whose shall those things be (5704 ), which thou hast provided (5656 )? * So is he that layeth up treasure (5723 ) for himself , and is not rich (5723 ) toward God .
