* He spake (5707 ) also this parable ; A certain man had (5707 ) a fig tree planted (5772 ) in his vineyard ; and he came (5627 ) and sought (5723 ) fruit thereon , and found (5627 ) none . * Then said he (5627 ) unto the dresser of his vineyard , Behold (5628 ), these three years I come (5736 ) seeking (5723 ) fruit on this fig tree , and find (5719 ) none : cut it down (5657 ); why cumbereth (5719 ) it the ground ? * And he answering (5679 ) said (5719 ) unto him , Lord , let it alone (5628 ) this year also , till I shall dig (5661 ) about it , and dung (5632 ) it : * And if it bear (5661 ) fruit , well : and if not , then after that (5723 ) thou shalt cut it down (5692 ).
