* And they watched (5660 ) him , and sent forth (5656 ) spies , which should feign (5740 ) (5750 ) themselves just men , that they might take hold (5638 ) of his words , that so they might deliver (5629 ) him unto the power and authority of the governor . * And they asked (5656 ) him , saying (5723 ), Master , we know (5758 ) that thou sayest (5719 ) and teachest (5719 ) rightly , neither acceptest thou (5719 ) the person of any , but teachest (5719 ) the way of God truly : * Is it lawful (5748 ) for us to give (5629 ) tribute unto Caesar , or no ? * But he perceived (5660 ) their craftiness , and said (5627 ) unto them , Why tempt ye (5719 ) me ?
