* And when ye shall see (5632 ) Jerusalem compassed (5746 ) with armies , then know (5628 ) that the desolation thereof is nigh (5758 ). * Then let them which are in Judaea flee (5720 ) to the mountains ; and let them which are in the midst of it depart out (5720 ); and let not them that are in the countries enter (5737 ) thereinto . * For these be (5748 ) the days of vengeance , that all things which are written (5772 ) may be fulfilled (5683 ). * But woe unto them that are with child (5723 ), and to them that give suck (5723 ), in those days ! for there shall be (5704 ) great distress in the land , and wrath upon this people . * And they shall fall (5699 ) by the edge of the sword , and shall be led away captive (5701 ) into all nations : and Jerusalem shall be (5704 ) trodden down (5746 ) of the Gentiles , until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled (5686 ). * And there shall be (5704 ) signs in the sun , and in the moon , and in the stars ; and upon the earth distress of nations , with perplexity ; the sea and the waves roaring (5723 ); * Mens hearts failing them (5723 ) for fear , and for looking after those things which are coming on (5740 ) the earth : for the powers of heaven shall be shaken (5701 ).
