* And as they thus spake (5723 ), Jesus himself stood (5627 ) in the midst of them , and saith (5719 ) unto them , Peace be unto you . * But they were terrified (5685 ) and affrighted (5637 ), and supposed (5707 ) that they had seen (5721 ) a spirit . * And he said (5627 ) unto them , Why are ye (5748 ) troubled (5772 )? and why do thoughts arise (5719 ) in your hearts ? * Behold (5628 ) my hands and my feet , that it is (5748 ) I myself : handle (5657 ) me , and see (5628 ); for a spirit hath (5719 ) not flesh and bones , as ye see (5719 ) me have (5723 ). * And when he had thus spoken (5631 ), he shewed (5656 ) them his hands and his feet .
