* But when Jesus perceived (5631 ) their thoughts , he answering (5679 ) said (5627 ) unto them , What reason ye (5736 ) in your hearts ? * Whether is (5748 ) easier , to say (5629 ), Thy sins be forgiven (5769 ) thee ; or to say (5629 ), Rise up (5669 ) and walk (5720 )? * But that ye may know (5762 ) that the Son of man hath (5719 ) power upon earth to forgive (5721 ) sins , (he said (5627 ) unto the sick of the palsy (5772 ),) I say (5719 ) unto thee , Arise (5669 ), and take up (5660 ) thy couch , and go (5737 ) into thine house . * And immediately he rose up (5631 ) before them , and took up (5660 ) that whereon he lay (5711 ), and departed (5627 ) to his own house , glorifying (5723 ) God .
