* For if ye love (5719 ) them which love (5723 ) you , what thank have (5748 ) ye ? for sinners also love (5723 ) those that love (5719 ) them . * And if ye do good (5725 ) to them which do good (5723 ) to you , what thank have (5748 ) ye ? for sinners also do (5719 ) even the same . * And if ye lend (5725 ) to them of whom ye hope (5719 ) (5625 ) (5725 ) to receive (5629 ), what thank have (5748 ) ye ? for sinners also lend (5719 ) to sinners , to receive as much again (5632 ). * But love ye (5720 ) your enemies , and do good (5720 ), and lend (5720 ), hoping for nothing again (5723 ); and your reward shall be (5704 ) great , and ye shall be (5704 ) the children of the Highest : for he is (5748 ) kind unto the unthankful and to the evil . * Be ye (5737 ) therefore merciful , as your Father also is (5748 ) merciful .
