* And the scribes and Pharisees watched (5707 ) him , whether he would heal (5692 ) on the sabbath day ; that they might find (5632 ) an accusation against him . * But he knew (5715 ) their thoughts , and said (5627 ) to the man which had (5723 ) the withered hand , Rise up (5669 ), and stand forth (5628 ) in the midst . And he arose (5631 ) and stood forth (5627 ). * Then said (5627 ) Jesus unto them , I will ask (5692 ) you one thing ; Is it lawful (5748 ) on the sabbath days to do good (5658 ), or to do evil (5658 )? to save (5658 ) life , or to destroy (5658 ) it ?
