* While he yet spake (5723 ), there cometh (5736 ) one from the ruler of the synagogues house , saying (5723 ) to him , Thy daughter is dead (5758 ); trouble (5720 ) not the Master . * But when Jesus heard (5660 ) it , he answered (5662 ) him , saying (5723 ), Fear (5737 ) not : believe (5720 ) only , and she shall be made whole (5701 ). * And when he came (5631 ) into the house , he suffered (5656 ) no man to go in (5629 ), save Peter , and James , and John , and the father and the mother of the maiden . * And all wept (5707 ), and bewailed (5710 ) her : but he said (5627 ), Weep (5720 ) not ; she is not dead (5627 ), but sleepeth (5719 ). * And they laughed him to scorn (5707 ), knowing (5761 ) that she was dead (5627 ). * And he put (5631 ) them all out , and took (5660 ) her by the hand , and called (5656 ), saying (5723 ), Maid , arise (5728 ). * And her spirit came again (5656 ), and she arose (5627 ) straightway : and he commanded (5656 ) to give (5683 ) her meat (5629 ).
