I know (5758 ) thee who thou art (5748 ), the Holy One of God . * And Jesus rebuked (5656 ) him , saying (5723 ), Hold thy peace (5682 ), and come (5628 ) out of him . * And when the unclean spirit had torn (5660 ) him , and cried (5660 ) with a loud voice , he came (5627 ) out of him . * And they were all amazed (5681 ), insomuch that they questioned (5721 ) among themselves , saying (5723 ), What thing is (5748 ) this ? what new doctrine is this ? for with authority commandeth (5719 ) he even the unclean spirits , and they do obey (5719 ) him . * And immediately his fame spread abroad (5627 ) throughout all the region round about Galilee . * And forthwith , when they were come (5631 ) out of the synagogue , they entered (5627 ) into the house of Simon and Andrew , with James and John . * But Simons wifes mother lay (5711 ) sick of a fever (5723 ), and anon they tell (5719 ) him of her . * And he came (5631 ) and took (5660 ) her by the hand , and lifted her up (5656 ); and immediately the fever left (5656 ) her , and she ministered (5707 ) unto them . * And at (5637 ) even , when the sun did set (5627 ), they brought (5707 ) unto him all that were (5723 ) diseased , and them that were possessed with devils (5740 ). * And all the city was (5713 ) gathered together (5772 ) at the door . * And he healed (5656 ) many that were (5723 ) sick of divers diseases , and cast out (5627 ) many devils ; and suffered (5707 ) not the devils to speak (5721 ), because they knew (5715 ) him . * And in the morning , rising up (5631 ) a great while before day , he went out (5627 ), and departed (5627 ) into a solitary place , and there prayed (5711 ). * And Simon and they that were with him followed after (5656 ) him . * And when they had found (5631 ) him , they said (5719 ) unto him , All men seek (5719 ) for thee . * And he said (5719 ) unto them , Let us go (5725 ) into the next (5746 ) towns , that I may preach (5661 ) there also : for therefore came I forth (5758 ). * And he preached (5723 ) (5713 ) in their synagogues throughout all Galilee , and cast out (5723 ) devils . * And there came (5736 ) a leper to him , beseeching (5723 ) him , and kneeling down (5723 ) to him , and saying (5723 ) unto him , If thou wilt (5725 ), thou canst (5736 ) make me clean (5658 ). * And Jesus , moved with compassion (5679 ), put forth (5660 ) his hand , and touched (5662 ) him , and saith (5719 ) unto him , I will (5719 ); be thou clean (5682 ). * And as soon as he had spoken (5631 ), immediately the leprosy departed (5627 ) from him , and he was cleansed (5681 ). * And he straitly charged (5666 ) him , and forthwith sent him away (5627 ); * And saith (5719 ) unto him , See (5720 ) thou say (5632 ) nothing to any man : but go thy way (5720 ), shew (5657 ) thyself to the priest , and offer (5628 ) for thy cleansing those things which Moses commanded (5656 ), for a testimony unto them . * But he went out (5631 ), and began (5662 ) to publish (5721 ) it much , and to blaze abroad (5721 ) the matter , insomuch that Jesus could (5738 ) no more openly enter (5629 ) into the city , but was (5713 ) without in desert places : and they came (5711 ) to him from every quarter .
