* And Jesus answered (5679 ) and said (5707 ), while he taught (5723 ) in the temple , How say (5719 ) the scribes that Christ is (5748 ) the Son of David ? * For David himself said (5627 ) by the Holy Ghost , The LORD said (5627 ) to my Lord , Sit thou (5737 ) on my right hand , till I make (5632 ) thine enemies thy footstool . * David therefore himself calleth (5719 ) him Lord ; and whence is he (5748 ) then his son ? And the common people heard (5707 ) him gladly .
