* And when the sabbath was past (5637 ), Mary Magdalene , and Mary the mother of James , and Salome , had bought (5656 ) sweet spices , that they might come (5631 ) and anoint (5661 ) him . * And very early in the morning the first day of the week , they came (5736 ) unto the sepulchre at the rising (5660 ) of the sun . * And they said (5707 ) among themselves , Who shall roll us away (5692 ) the stone from the door of the sepulchre ? * And when they looked (5660 ), they saw (5719 ) that the stone was rolled away (5769 ): for it was (5713 ) very great . * And entering (5631 ) into the sepulchre , they saw (5627 ) a young man sitting (5740 ) on the right side , clothed (5772 ) in a long white garment ; and they were affrighted (5681 ). * And he saith (5719 ) unto them , Be not affrighted (5744 ): Ye seek (5719 ) Jesus of Nazareth , which was crucified (5772 ): he is risen (5681 ); he is (5748 ) not here : behold the place where they laid (5656 ) him . * But go your way (5720 ), tell (5628 ) his disciples and Peter that he goeth before (5719 ) you into Galilee : there shall ye see (5695 ) him , as he said (5627 ) unto you . * And they went out (5631 ) quickly , and fled (5627 ) from the sepulchre ; for they trembled (5707 ) and were amazed : neither said they (5627 ) any thing to any man ; for they were afraid (5711 ). * Now when Jesus was risen (5631 ) early the first day of the week , he appeared (5648 ) first to Mary Magdalene , out of whom he had cast (5715 ) seven devils . * And she went (5679 ) and told (5656 ) them that had been (5637 ) with him , as they mourned (5723 ) and wept (5723 ). * And they , when they had heard (5660 ) that he was alive (5719 ), and had been seen (5681 ) of her , believed not (5656 ). * After that he appeared (5681 ) in another form unto two of them , as they walked (5723 ), and went (5740 ) into the country . * And they went (5631 ) and told (5656 ) it unto the residue : neither believed they (5656 ) them . * Afterward he appeared (5681 ) unto the eleven as they sat at meat (5740 ), and upbraided (5656 ) them with their unbelief and hardness of heart , because they believed (5656 ) not them which had seen (5666 ) him after he was risen (5772 ). * And he said (5627 ) unto them , Go ye (5679 ) into all the world , and preach (5657 ) the gospel to every creature . * He that believeth (5660 ) and is baptized (5685 ) shall be saved (5701 ); but he that believeth not (5660 ) shall be damned (5701 ). * And these signs shall follow (5692 ) them that believe (5660 ); In my name shall they cast out (5692 ) devils ; they shall speak (5692 ) with new tongues ; * They shall take up (5692 ) serpents ; and if they drink (5632 ) any deadly thing , it shall not hurt (5692 ) them ; they shall lay (5692 ) hands on the sick , and they shall (5692 ) recover . * So then after the Lord had spoken (5658 ) unto them , he was received up (5681 ) into heaven , and sat (5656 ) on the right hand of God . * And they went forth (5631 ), and preached (5656 ) every where , the Lord working with (5723 ) them , and confirming (5723 ) the word with signs following (5723 ).
