* And when he had called (5666 ) unto him his twelve disciples , he gave (5656 ) them power against unclean spirits , to cast them out (5721 ), and to heal (5721 ) all manner of sickness and all manner of disease . * Now the names of the twelve apostles are (5748 ) these ; The first , Simon , who is called (5746 ) Peter , and Andrew his brother ; James the son of Zebedee , and John his brother ; * Philip , and Bartholomew ; Thomas , and Matthew the publican ; James the son of Alphaeus , and Lebbaeus , whose surname was (5685 ) Thaddaeus ; * Simon the Canaanite , and Judas Iscariot , who also betrayed (5631 ) him . * These twelve Jesus sent forth (5656 ), and commanded (5660 ) them , saying (5723 ), Go (5632 ) not into the way of the Gentiles , and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye (5632 ) not : * But go (5737 ) rather to the lost (5756 ) sheep of the house of Israel .
