* But what went ye out (5627 ) for to see (5629 )? A prophet ? yea , I say (5719 ) unto you , and more than a prophet . * For this is (5748 ) he , of whom it is written (5769 ), Behold (5628 ), I send (5719 ) my messenger before thy face , which shall prepare (5692 ) thy way before thee . * Verily I say (5719 ) unto you , Among them that are born of women there hath not risen (5769 ) a greater than John the Baptist : notwithstanding he that is least in the kingdom of heaven is (5748 ) greater than he . * And from the days of John the Baptist until now the kingdom of heaven suffereth violence (5743 ), and the violent take it by force (5719 ). * For all the prophets and the law prophesied (5656 ) until John . * And if ye will (5719 ) receive (5664 ) it , this is (5748 ) Elias , which was for (5723 ) to come (5738 ).
