* And , behold (5628 ), there was (5713 ) a man which had (5723 ) his hand withered . And they asked (5656 ) him , saying (5723 ), Is it lawful (5748 ) to heal (5721 ) on the sabbath days ? that they might accuse (5661 ) him . * And he said (5627 ) unto them , What man shall there be (5704 ) among you , that shall have (5692 ) one sheep , and if it fall (5632 ) into a pit on the sabbath day , will he not lay hold (5692 ) on it , and lift it out (5692 )? * How much then is a man better than (5719 ) a sheep ? Wherefore it is lawful (5748 ) to do (5721 ) well on the sabbath days . * Then saith (5719 ) he to the man , Stretch forth (5657 ) thine hand . And he stretched it forth (5656 ); and it was restored (5681 ) whole , like as the other .
