* And as they departed (5740 ) from Jericho , a great multitude followed (5656 ) him . * And , behold (5628 ), two blind men sitting (5740 ) by the way side , when they heard (5660 ) that Jesus passed by (5719 ), cried out (5656 ), saying (5723 ), Have mercy (5657 ) on us , O Lord , thou Son of David . * And the multitude rebuked (5656 ) them , because they should hold their peace (5661 ): but they cried (5707 ) the more , saying (5723 ), Have mercy (5657 ) on us , O Lord , thou Son of David . * And Jesus stood still (5631 ), and called (5656 ) them , and said (5627 ), What will ye (5719 ) that I shall do (5661 ) unto you ? * They say (5719 ) unto him , Lord , that our eyes may be opened (5686 ). * So Jesus had compassion (5679 ) on them , and touched (5662 ) their eyes : and immediately their eyes received sight (5656 ), and they followed (5656 ) him .
