* The same day came (5656 ) to him the Sadducees , which say (5723 ) that there is (5750 ) no resurrection , and asked (5656 ) him , * Saying (5723 ), Master , Moses said (5627 ), If a man die (5632 ), having (5723 ) no children , his brother shall marry (5692 ) his wife , and raise up (5692 ) seed unto his brother . * Now there were (5713 ) with us seven brethren : and the first , when he had married a wife (5660 ), deceased (5656 ), and , having (5723 ) no issue , left (5656 ) his wife unto his brother : * Likewise the second also , and the third , unto the seventh . * And last of all the woman died (5627 ) also .
