* Woe unto you , scribes and Pharisees , hypocrites ! for ye pay tithe (5719 ) of mint and anise and cumin , and have omitted (5656 ) the weightier matters of the law , judgment , mercy , and faith : these ought ye (5713 ) to have done (5658 ), and not to leave the other undone (5721 ). * Ye blind guides , which strain at (5723 ) a gnat , and swallow (5723 ) a camel . * Woe unto you , scribes and Pharisees , hypocrites ! for ye make clean (5719 ) the outside of the cup and of the platter , but within they are full (5719 ) of extortion and excess . * Thou blind Pharisee , cleanse (5657 ) first that which is within the cup and platter , that the outside of them may be (5638 ) clean also . * Woe unto you , scribes and Pharisees , hypocrites ! for ye are like (5719 ) unto whited (5772 ) sepulchres , which indeed appear (5727 ) beautiful outward , but are within full (5719 ) of dead mens bones , and of all uncleanness . * Even so ye also outwardly appear (5743 ) righteous unto men , but within ye are (5748 ) full of hypocrisy and iniquity .
